But what if you have a heavy-duty semi truck with a trailer?    This is where megawatt charging systems may be needed, especially if the trucking industry has a hope of ever going electric with ranges that stretch beyond solely last-mile delivery.    A number of megawatt charging systems are now in the works, with one prototype recently shown charging a semi at 1025 kW.     But even 3,000 kW is possible, this company says.
