And Ingolstadt's entry in this crucial category has just arrived, with the 2025 Audi A6 and S6 Sportback e-trons looking to stake a claim to this EV category, which has felt largely overlooked. What does this duo promise EV shoppers? For starters, 100-kWh batteries that will yield a range of 392 miles in the entry-level rear-wheel-drive A6. But as this is Audi we're talking about, you can bet that AWD will be on the menu as well, especially in the sportier S6. But range isn't everything in this segment, even though the range wars are still alive and well. The S6 Sportback e-tron promises nothing short of 543 hp and 0-to-60 launches in 3.7 seconds.
