If you have trouble reading this message, view it in a browser. 2027 Chevy Bolt EV Comes Loaded, for Under $30,000      After a two-year hiatus, the Chevrolet Bolt is back, sporting 255 miles of range, 150-kw charging, and a nifty NACS charge port to get you into Tesla's Supercharger network. Best thing might be the price, which starts at $29,990 including destination. Even better will be a $28,995 model promised for later in the 2027 model year.    However, without elaboration, Chevy says the Bolt will be a "limited run model," so you might want to grab one as soon as they hit dealerships early next year. Ferrari Makes an Electric Car!      After dabbling in hybrids for several years, Ferrari announced it will be making its first-ever, full-on battery electric vehicle for sale in Q2 of next year, to be called the Elettrica.    The company pulled the cover off what turned out to be just the chassis of the EV in Maranello. There are no photos the car's body yet, and Ferrari isn't even saying what body type will sit atop the new chassis except to say that it will have four seats, four doors, and will be powered through all four wheels via four electric motors. READ THE FULL STORY Hyundai Slashes 2026 Ioniq 5 Prices by up to $10K      In the wake of expiring federal credits for EV purchases, Hyundai is making its top-selling electric vehicle whole lot more competitive. For the 2026 model year, the company is cutting prices on every trim of its Ioniq 5 crossover, with reductions ranging from $7,600 to $9,800.      The new base SE Standard Range model now starts at $36,600, a $7,600 drop from the previous year. Upper trims are seeing even bigger cuts, with the SEL all-wheel drive and Limited AWD each dropping by nearly $10,000. On average, the 2026 Ioniq 5 lineup is priced $9,155 lower than before.
