New Porsche 718 GTS Boxster and Cayman Are Your Naturally Aspirated Flat-Six Heroes

Porsche just introduced two new 718 models available to order this coming summer: the 718 Boxster and Cayman GTS. Sportier than the standard 718s in most every regard, Porsche started by taking a very close relative of the Cayman GT4 4.0-liter, flat-six engine and bolting it into the GTS models. Peak output is 394 hp and 309 lb-ft of torque. Almost more enticing, the redline is refreshingly high at 7,800 rpm.

Report: BMW i8 Is Discontinued as of April

BMW UK confirmed what several websites are reporting: The German automaker is killing its i8 hybrid sports car.
